Skoda is planning to introduce a compact crossover below the Yeti. The compact crossover is expected to arrive in 2017 and could be called Skoda Polar. This B-segment crossover will have many design elements of the new Superb, Kodiaq and upcoming Octavia facelift,

The new Polar will be based on Volkswagen’s MQB platform. It’s likely that the crossover will have a lot in common with Audi, VW and Seat’s compact SUV. It is also rumored Skoda will only offer a 2WD (front-wheel drive) version of the vehicle, while the engine choices are the small 3-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.
